By placing an order through the website you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Payment
All online payments by debit and credit card are handled through Stripe, a third party payment processor, more information about Stripe and their Privacy Policy can be seen here. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer please email kathryn@kathrynhinton.com.
When a payment has been made you will receive an email confirming your order has been placed.
Delivery
Due to the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), which came in to effect on the 13th December 2024, I will no longer be able to fulfil orders to EU countries or to Northern Ireland for the foreseeable future.
UK and International delivery (excluding EU and Northern Ireland)
Please allow 2-3 days for items to be despatched. Most items are in stock and ready to ship, however some items are made to order and their delivery times are stated in the description.
You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched.
Rings are bespoke and made to order, please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.
UK delivery
Postage within the UK is included within the price of your order. UK orders are sent using Royal Mail ‘tracked 24 or 48’ and ‘Special Delivery - Next Day service’ depending on the value of the piece.International delivery
All International orders (excluding Christmas decorations) are shipped using Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service. Please allow 10 working days for delivery from date of dispatch. Christmas decorations are sent using Royal Mail International Standard delivery.
Additional charges apply for shipment using alternative courier companies. Please email before placing your order to arrange this.Duties and taxes may apply to shipments outside the UK. Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or VAT that may arise through delivery of the order to your country.
Packaging
All Jewellery items are packaged and presented in a branded black jewellery box. Silversmithing items are packaged in a presentation box.
Returns
We hope you will be happy with your piece of jewellery or silversmithing from Kathryn Hinton, however if you are not fully satisfied please contact Kathryn within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange items must be returned in perfect condition, unworn and with original packaging within 28 days of receiving your order. All returns are at the customers own risk and return postage is at the expense of the customer. We recommend you use a registered insured delivery service.
We cannot accept returns on any personalised or bespoke orders so please take extra care when ordering and commissioning these pieces. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct finger size when ordering rings.
Sizing
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct sizing for rings. There are a few ways to measure your size such as checking an existing ring that is worn on the same finger and measuring the width of the band as well as the internal diameter in mm. I can also post you a plastic ring guide to help ensure the correct size.
Resizing
A fee of £30 will be charged for resizing.
