Terms and Conditions

By placing an order through the website you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payment

All work remains property of Kathryn Hinton until full payment is received. Payment online is made through a third party payment gateway. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer please email kathryn@kathrynhinton.com. When a payment has been made you will receive an email confirming your order has been placed.

Delivery

All jewellery items in stock will be dispatched within 3 weeks. You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched. Rings, commissioned items or silversmithing pieces may take up to 6 weeks to complete. If you require a piece by a specific date please email Kathryn to discuss this.

  • UK delivery
    Postage within the UK is included within the price of your order. All UK bound orders (excluding Christmas decorations) are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed - Next Day service. This is a guaranteed next day service delivered before 1pm and a signature is required upon delivery. Christmas decoration are sent using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For.

  • International delivery
    All International orders (excluding Christmas decorations) are shipped using Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service. Please allow 10 working days for delivery from date of dispatch. Christmas decorations are sent using Royal Mail International Standard delivery.
    Additional charges apply for shipment using alternative courier companies. Please email before placing your order to arrange this. Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or VAT that may arise through delivery of the order to your country.

Packaging

All Jewellery items are packaged and presented in a branded black jewellery box. Silversmithing items are packaged in black presentation box.

Returns

We hope you will be happy with your piece of jewellery or silversmithing from Kathryn Hinton, however if you are not fully satisfied please contact Kathryn within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange items must be returned in perfect condition, unworn and with original packaging within 28 days of receiving your order. All returns are at the customers own risk and return postage is at the expense of the customer. We recommend you use a registered insured delivery service. 

We cannot accept returns on any personalised or bespoke orders so please take extra care when ordering and commissioning these pieces.  It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct finger size when ordering rings.

Resizing

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure correct sizing for rings. A fee of £25 will be charged for any resizing of rings.
